Winter Programming

All that to say this.  I am sick and tired of the idea that just because it is January, February or March, that there is nothing to do.  I’m over it.  In fact, here at the Market, I have doubled down on this notion and planned something EVERY OTHER WEEK in those months.  Thursday nights are going to be event nights at the Market.  We are talking board game nights, coffee classes, beer school, and more.

I have lived in Aberdeen for almost 10 years now, and I think I got it figured out.  Here are some of the truths I have accepted about this great community.

  1. We have seasons.  All 4 of them.  I think this is great.

  2. There are a lot of things that go on here! So many events every week!

  3. Sometimes its hard to say in advance, “Yes, I am totally going to that event”

  4. As a result of that, we have become known as a “Last Minute Town.”

HOWEVER, here is where these truths come back full circle because for those of us who plan and execute events, these things are a bugger.  We put so much time, effort and money into planning cool activities, and it is so hard to tell if people are going to show up.

If there is something you would like to see here in Aberdeen, let us know! Would you like to host your own event on the second floor? We can do that! We love to bring people together and would love to help you make this a fun and vibrant place to live.

So stop on down and see us.  It's not that cold out, and we promise to have a lot of fun!

Check out our facebook page and the website for a full list of the upcoming events!
