Locally Roasted Coffee

They say in life that it's all about who you know.  I couldn't agree more.  Every relationship you have can lead to something bigger, and that is certainly true of Mary Beth Holzworth.  I read about Mary Beth and her various jobs in the newspaper several years ago and invited her to come and speak at our 1 Million Cups group.  While there, she shared the story of starting a group to fight child sexual abuse, and also about her roasting company.

Globetrotter Coffee Co was inspired by Mary Beth’s travels to South and Central America, and also her love of coffee.  When The Market was started, I could not think of a better person to partner with.  Her knowledge and passion made her the perfect match.

Not only were her skills important, but also her proximity.  Our coffee is roasted 2 hours away, 2.5 pounds at a time.  Her hustle and grind resonate with me, a fellow small business owner.  I love knowing that we serve the best coffee in town, and that is because we keep it local.

Mary Beth came down to the store before we were open to consult and make a plan, and it was one of my proudest moments as a fellow entrepreneur to have her announce that we were her first exclusive account, and that was one of her goals when she started. It means a lot to me that we were able to help each other reach our goals.

I love using Globetrotter Coffee for lattes, cappuccinos, drip coffee, cold brew coffee and even straight espresso.  I love supporting my neighbors.  It's one of the best parts of this job.
